Viviane Vanfleteren

Viviane Vanfleteren has over 25 years of experience in film production. She is responsible for the creative decisions with writers and directors, the design of financial strategies and the follow up of the administrative, financial and legal aspects. She puts together international co-production constructions and takes care of the expansion of her network of distributors and broadcasters. She oversees the entire production process from inception through release.

As founder and CEO of Vivi Film, an independent Belgian film production company, she produced several shorts and documentaries before she started in 1999 with the co-production of animated features. Her credits includes amongst others The Triplets of Belleville and The Secret of Kells which were both selected as Academy Award® Nominees.

Vanfleteren won in 2009, together with her coproducers form Les Armateurs and Cartoon Saloon, the Cartoon Movie Tribute award of European producer of the year.

Today Viviane is operating on different fronts. She has shorts, series and features in different stages of development, financing, production and distribution.
