In 1999, Ron Dyens created Sacrebleu Productions. Fifty short films – live action and animation, fiction and documentary – have been produced since then, selected in over 1000 festivals. In 2010 Sacrebleu received the Procirep Prize for Best Producer of shorts and won the Palme d’Or for short film at the Cannes Film Festival with BARKING ISLAND by Serge Avedikian. The same year, the animation short film MADAGASCAR, A JOURNEY DIARY by Bastien Dubois is nominated for the Oscars. In 2016, Sacrebleu released its first feature animated film, LONG WAY NORTH (Public Prize at Annecy 2015 – audience of 300 000 people in France, sold in over 20 countries around the world). Recently, Céline Devaux received the 2017 Orizzonti Price at the Mostra in Venice for YOU WILL BE FINE and Vergine Keaton was selected at the 2018 Berlinale Shorts for her new film THE TASMANIAN TIGER, both produced by Ron Dyens. Besides his career of producer, Ron directed five short films, selected in more than 300 festivals, including Cannes, Clermont-Ferrand, Brest among others.
