Rita Castro, frequently signing her works as Rasto, is a portuguese Fine Artist, working mainly with Illustration and Animation Film. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts – Multimedia from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto in the summer of 2017 and is currently doing her English Master in Animation Film at KASK, School of Arts in Gent, Belgium. On her Erasmus year at KASK, in 2017, she did two shorts, “Dwalen” and “The Pancakes’ House”, with presence in some festivals, and the last one got awarded in YMOTION ‘2017 and had its Asian Premiere in South Korea, at the BIKY Festival ‘2018.
