erbes christophe

Christophe Erbes was born in 1963 in Paris and studied mathematics, telecommunication science and economics (MBA).
After some scientific research in Montreal (Canada), he worked for Canal+ International in Paris. He was then responsible for the kids and short films department at PREMIERE in Hamburg before becoming Head of Programs at S-RTL/Disney in Cologne. After being Head of Programs and Deputy Managing Director of NICKELODEON Germany, he was Managing Director at Fox Kids / Jetix in Madrid, London and Munich.
Since 2006, Christophe is an international children media consultant, e.g. for Orange, Ubisoft, EBU, MFG Baden-Württemberg and host of many festivals and conferences like MIP/MIPCOM, Annecy, ITFS/APD, Cartoon, GKMC, European Animation Awards… He was many years member of the board of the German Kids Films support association and studied at the German Kids Media Academy in 2008/09., reads for Eurimage.
Under the pseudonym Theo de Marcousin, Christophe is a published kids books author (e.g. the international bestseller OSCAR AND HOO picture books, together with Oscar Winner Michael Dudok de Wit, see on FaceBook Oscar & Hoo and release in 2018 of the 52×11’ animated TV series ELLA, OSCAR & HOO), a script writer and a free lance project developer (e.g. for Technicolor, Magot, Kool, Gaumont, Studio100, E1, CopenhagenBombay, NORMAAL…).
