Filmdirector Dorte Bengtson was born 1971 in Copenhagen, Denmark. She has been working in animation since 1996. Dorte graduated as animation director from the National Filmschool of Denmark in 2008. Her graduation film “The Sylpphid” premiered in competion at Cannes’ Cinéfondation and was in competion in Annecy and travelt to a lot of other festivals. Vitello (2018) is Dorte’s first feature film as a director. The Vitello tv-series (2018) is Dorte’s first televison tv-series. Her other shortfilms has been featured at festivals around the world.
